No biomass can survive without the three things in nature. These are water, air, and fire. Sometimes when these three forces are over, natural disasters can occur as a result of the phenomenon. From these disasters the Organization which saves us is fire department and the fire man who put their lives in risk to save the needy. Sunil Kumar is one of those real heroes. The real gem of Bhandary community who is serving in the organization as a fireman.

Birth:
Sunil Kumar is born at Thodar of Moodbidre, as 3rd son of six childrens of late K. Krishnappa Bhandary and Late. K. Vimala.

Education:
Sunil Kumar completed his Primary school education in St.Sisilys Convent, Udupi and in Modern High school Udupi. Sunil did his
Highschool studies in Christian Highschool Udupi and Rozario Highschool, Mangalore. Later he Completed his first grade education at
St. Aloysius Evening College, Mangalore. After that he learnt Typewriting in Lions Club, Mallikatte, Mangalore.

 

Early Life:
Sunil Kumar lost his father due to illness in the age of 15, it was a big shocking for his family. Sunil was the elder son among his other
siblings so he was forced to take the responsibilities of his family and he took it as challenge and took the responsibilities of his family on his shoulder alongside completed his high school education. The family was survived by the pension what his mother used get,
so Sunil headed towards earning some food for his family. He joined Bhandary Community owned M/s Sansons Sales Corporation Company in 1982 and continued his Education also. While doing his Second B.A, he managed to get a job at Karnataka Government Fire and Emergency Services Department. He Joined fire Brigade at 1987 and later served in Mangalore, Bengaluru and some other places of Dakshina Kannada. At present he is serving as Station Inspector at Mangalore Fire Service Station.

Honourary award:
Recognizing his service, During the 2011th Fire service weekly programme, Chief Minister of Karnataka Govt. awarded him with Gold
medal. Also for his dedicative and good service, in 2017th Republic day celebration The President of India Awarded Sunil Kumar with Fire service Medal. Currently Sunil Kumar lives in Mangalore with his wife Meera M and Childrens Pratheeksha S and Sameeksha S. Bhandary Varthe wishes him & his family a happy and prosporous life with good wishes.
