Career Counselling & Health Session – How it unfolded!
For the first time ever, Bhandary Seva Samithi, Mumbai (BSS) was proud to organize a Career Counselling & Health Session at the Rotary Seva Sadan, Dombivli on 8th September 2018.
Special invitees for the session were Mr. Vijayan R, Supply Chain Specialist and Dr. Sujata K Bhandare who provided tips on counselling and nutrition respectively.
The Session started on a light note with mimicry by budding artists Mr. Bharat Thakur and Mr. Tejas Rajput, who were felicitated by Mr. Prabhakar Bhandary, Vice President, BSS and Mr. Karunakar Bhandary, Treasurer, BSS respectively.
Focusing on the session, Mr. Vijayan made a detailed career counselling presentation providing insights on the ways and means for children to develop in their career graph and how parents can support them in this journey. He also touched upon stress management for the corporate office goers by citing several personal experiences. The counselling session was followed by a nutrition session by Dr. Sujata Bhandare who stressed on the right intake of balanced nutrition to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Mr. Shashidhar Bhandary, Secretary, BSS was the host for the evening duly supported by Adv Kshama Bhandary and Ms. Ankita Bhandary who made brief introductions of Mr. Vijayan and Dr Sujata Bhandare respectively.
The session concluded with the felicitation of Mr. Vijayan by Advocate Shri R M Bhandary, President BSS, Dr. Sujata K Bhandare by Smt. Shalini Ramesh Bhandary, Chairperson – Womens Wing-BSS and vote of thanks by Mr. Purushottam Bhandary, Vice President, BSS.
Surprise gifts were distributed to community members who were selected by way of lucky draw and children who attended the session.
