Mangalore: 9th standard student Preethi Bhandary and 7th standard student Leekshitha Bhandary, won the first place in the North Zone Taluk level Karate competition held on August 4th in Mangalore , have been selected for the District Level Competition on August 22.
The girls trained from Nithin. N Suvarna, are basically from Kadagadalu of Madikeri. They are the daughters of Santosh Bhandary and Jyoti Santosh, currently living in Suratkal. Both are Studying in Holy Family School, Suratkal.
