The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Probationary Officers (PO). Interested candidates can apply latest by May 13.

SBI PO RECRUITMENT 2018: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational qualification:

Candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute.

Age limit: The maximum age of the candidate should be 30 years and minimum 21 years.

SBI PO RECRUITMENT 2018: SELECTION PROCEDURE

Candidates will be selected on the following basis:

  • Preliminary examination
  • Main examination
  • Group Exercise and Interview

PAPER PATTERN:

Preliminary examination:

The paper will consist of objective type questions based on English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability. The test will be held for 100 marks. It will be conducted for a duration of one hour.

Main examination:

The exam will comprise objective test based on reasoning and computer aptitude, data analysis and interpretation, general/economy/banking awareness and English language. The exam is held for 200 marks. Also, candidates will have to sit for a descriptive test which will be conducted for 50 marks. Both the exams will be conducted online.

Descriptive test: The duration of the test will be 30 minutes. It will have two questions for 50 marks will be a test of English language (letter writing and essay).

Note: Candidates must note that one-fourth marks will be deducted for wrong answers.

Pay scale:

Candidates will get a remuneration of Rs 23,700 to Rs 42,020 per month.
